Frequently asked questions
What is lorem ipsum?
Lorem ipsum is placeholder text used in design and publishing to preview layouts without finished copy. It is based on scrambled Latin text, so readers focus on the layout instead of the meaning.
How is the text generated?
Sentences of 5–14 words are built at random from the classic lorem ipsum vocabulary. Paragraphs contain 3–6 sentences. In Words mode you get exactly the number of words you asked for.
Can I use this text in my projects?
Yes — it is standard dummy text with no meaning, commonly used in mock-ups, templates and drafts before real content is ready.
Is anything uploaded?
No. The text is generated entirely in your browser with JavaScript.
