Frequently asked questions
Is my PDF uploaded to a server?
No. Pages are rendered entirely in your browser using JavaScript. Your file never leaves your device, and nothing is stored anywhere.
Should I choose PNG or JPG?
PNG keeps sharp edges and supports crisp text, but files are usually larger. JPG produces smaller files and is a good fit for pages that are mostly photos. JPG images are rendered on a white background, since JPG has no transparency.
What does the resolution setting do?
It scales how big each page image is. 1× renders at about 72 DPI (screen size), 2× at about 144 DPI, and 3× at about 216 DPI for print-quality images. Higher resolutions take longer and produce bigger files.
Can I convert just one page?
Every page is converted and shown as a preview — simply download only the pages you need, or use Download all to save the full set.
My file won't load. Why?
The file may be corrupted or password-protected. Encrypted PDFs need to be unlocked with their password in a PDF editor first — this tool cannot open them.
